Raise the Barre Dance Academy is committed to providing dancers of all ages with the necessary skills to be their personal best while instilling the appreciation of the art of dance. 

So, what does that mean, exactly? Our dancers are trained in proper age-appropriate dance technique and terminology. Our unique, character-building curriculum is filled with unique and engaging games, activities, and choreography that keep our students excited about dance and eager to learn.  

But what sets Raise the Barre Dance Academy apart from every dance studio out there? It’s in the name! We Raise the Barre in our dance classes and practice more than just pliés and pirouettes. We practice important life skills such as kindness, respect,  teamwork, confidence, poise, even literacy, and math! We focus on the importance of respect and listening to others and work towards becoming the shining lights and positivity this world needs. 

When a dancer enters our classroom, they enter a safe space where they are able to express themselves and explore outside their comfort zone. No two dancers are the same so we customize our classes to provide individualized instruction our students deserve. Our goal is to help our dancers reach their personal best not only in the dance room but in everyday life!

Another amazing aspect of Raise the Barre Dance Academy is that we are able to provide families with a unique studio experience without the crazy studio cost. By working with the NRH Centre, we are able to offer biannual recitals and exclusive performances along with a variety of activities for dancers, their siblings and their hardworking parents (psst...the Centre has a hot tub and masseuse)!
